What is a Movie Projectors?
The movie projector is a common form of projector that has an opto-mechanical device which projects moving pictures on a projection screen. Except for the illumination and sound devices most of the optical and mechanical elements are present in the movie cameras. The movie projectors are widely used in theaters and have changed in technology with the time. A movie projector actually works to advance each frame of the film, by projecting the image from the film and also reads the audio from the film.
Generally, there are particular group of parts that are required in a movie projector. These parts are
- Spool assembly which consists of cambers, sprockets, claw, motor, platter
- Lamp assembly which consists of bulb, condenser, fan, mirror
- Lens assembly that consists of lens, aperture gate, shutter
- Audio assembly that consists of optical and digital readers, infrared
