The Popular Portable Projectors

A projector is nothing but a device that shows the enlarged image of a photographic slide or film on a screen.  Most of the standard projectors have a picture resolution of 800x600 pixels, with an average weight of four to six pounds and has a case making it easy to carry.  In motion picture projector each frame is held motionlessly to an illuminated aperture for a short time. Then it moves further with the help of alternating sprockets or reciprocating claw. During this process the light gets cut off by the rotating shutter. Whereas, the soundtrack of the film is produced on a different sound head, in this the film moves incessantly at constant speed.

All the projectors come with different brightness and contrast levels with the brightness ranges from 1300 lumens to 1500 lumens.  In a small well lit room the projectors with 1400 lumens is ideal. The feed pool, projection lens, optical sound head, an aperture, normal lens, rotating shutters, xenon arc lamps and take up spool are some of the crucial parts of any projector.  With the advancement of technology the projectors now have more clarity of picture and quality of pixels.
