How to take care of your projector?

When you buy expensive equipment always make it a point to take care of it to prolong its life. The best way is to read the manual and get familiarize with the model. The manual makes your aware of do’s and don’t while operating the product and avoids accidents.

The lamp used in the projector should be taken care of, the most as it is user-dependent, replaceable and expensive. There is an auto-delay function in most of the projectors. This system can damage the lamp if the on/off switch is flicked rapidly. Keep the projector in a proper ventilated room at room temperature as excess heat and humidity can have adverse effect on the projector.

Pulling out the plug is the wrong way, shut down the projectors properly as it prevents loss of lamp life. Keep the air filters clean and dust free. Keep the projector on a leveled and stable surface as it has been found, the vibration can damage the lamp filament. Don’t move the projector when it is switched off to avoid damage to the filament. It is very necessary to change the lamp if it is required. It has been found those projectors, with, 1800 lumen, run the high risk of implosion when an out of order lamp is used.
